Optimization of the correct settings of your bike

In partnership with the Hotel Capo Caccia in Alghero, site of the evaluation, (AREA 3) offers a customized service to bikers interested in the optimization of the correct settings of their bike. As it is surely known to bikers, this set up plays an important role non only in the optimization of their performance but also in preventing a number of muscle skeletal as well as tendon pathologies due to improper postures on the bike. Such pathologies can become chronic to a point that  the athlete is forced to stop training sometime even for long periods.

The service is performed by Prof Paolo Forno, graduate in science of the movement, posturologist and osteopath. The setting is in fact preceded by a postural evaluation of the athlete and on its basis his position on the bike will be optimized.

The service fee  is € 150 + 20% VAT (see details below).

CUSTOMIZATION OF THE CORRECT POSITION ON THE BIKE

The evaluation is carried out both for mtb and road bikers by measuring the work knee angle with a joint protractor. Other tools will be used for the settings of the saddle position (withdrawal and height) as well as for the toe cleats shoes settings with respect to the pedals. The handbar position will be also customized by measuring the elbow work angle.

Athlete posture during pedalling before and after the changes will be recorded on a CD which will be given to the customer for an objective comparison of the difference in its efficiency.
